San San Samuele is a church on the campo of the same name in Venice, northern Italy, near Palazzo Grassi, with its facade set back and visible from the Grand Canal. It was built around 1000 by the Boldù and Soranzo families, was damaged by fires and rebuilt, and was almost entirely reconstructed in 1685, though its late-Gothic apse survived intact. It is named after the Biblical Samuel, whose traditionally attributed relics it houses.
