Sant Ferran Castle stands on a hill in Figueres, Catalonia, at the end of the Pujada del Castell. Built in the eighteenth century under several military engineers, including Pedro Martín Cermeño and Juan Martín Cermeño, it is a large military fortress and the largest man-made monument in Catalonia. It holds Cultural Asset of National Interest status.
