The Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità stands in the Rione Sanità of Naples, Italy, on a piazza where Via Sanità meets Via Teresa degli Scalzi. Built over the Catacombs of San Gaudioso, it is a Baroque church designed by Giuseppe Nuvolo, with construction beginning in 1602. The church is also known as San Vincenzo, after the cult of an icon of San Vincenzo Ferrer locally called O' Monacone.
