The Sar-e Qabr-e Agha Mausoleum in District 12 of Tehran is a Qajar-era tomb that exemplifies the decorative vocabulary of nineteenth-century Persian architecture. Built in brick and stone, the structure showcases the ornamental mastery characteristic of its period through aina-kari (mirror-work), glazed tile, and plaster embellishment—techniques that transformed its interior and exterior surfaces into jeweled compositions. Designated as an Iranian National Heritage site, the mausoleum preserves the craftsmanship and aesthetic refinement that defined Qajar funerary architecture.
