Schæffergården, a Rococo mansion in Jægersborg, Gentofte Municipality, stands some 15 kilometres north of Copenhagen. Built by court carpenter Dietrich Schäffer between 1755 and 1756, the listed main building exemplifies the refined elegance of mid-eighteenth-century Danish architecture. Originally known as Jægersborghus, the estate has been owned by the Foundation for Danish-Norwegian Cooperation since the 1940s. It now operates as a conference centre, having undergone several renovations and expansions by architects including Kaare Klint. The complex is registered as a cultural monument by Kulturstyrelsen.
