Schloss Oranienstein is a château at Diez on the Lahn in Rhineland-Palatinate, built on the ruins of Dierstein Abbey between 1672 and 1681 for Countess Albertine Agnes of Nassau after she was widowed. It is one of the palaces of the House of Orange-Nassau and a protected cultural heritage monument. Stadtholder William V and his family later settled there, where the Oranienstein Letters were issued in 1795 and after. The castle has since been occupied by the German Bundeswehr alongside adjacent barracks, and it also houses a museum.
