Schloss Wolfenbüttel is a château and royal palace in Wolfenbüttel, Lower Saxony, Germany. Begun as a moated castle, it grew into an extensive four-wing complex and served as the main residence of the rulers of the Principality of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel from 1432 to 1753. Hermann Korb and Johann Balthasar Lauterbach are associated with its architecture. It is now the second-largest surviving schloss in Lower Saxony and houses a gymnasium, the Federal Academy of Arts Education, and a museum.
