The Seu Nova, or New Cathedral of Lleida, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Lleida, Catalonia, and the seat of the Diocese of Lleida. Built between 1761 and 1782 with donations from Charles III of Spain, Bishop Joaquín Sánchez and other citizens, it replaced the old cathedral, La Seu Vella, which had been turned into a fortress and garrison after the War of Spanish Succession. Its austere Baroque or Neoclassical style is attributed to architect Pedro Martín-Paredes Cermeño, and it is a Cultural Asset of National Interest.
