Šibenik Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of St. James, is a triple-nave Catholic cathedral and minor basilica in Šibenik, Croatia, and the episcopal seat of the Diocese of Šibenik. Built entirely of stone between 1431 and 1536 and designed by several architects, most notably Juraj Dalmatinac and Nikola Firentinac, it is noted for its monumental stone dome and a frieze of carved human heads around the apses, considered individual portraits of Dalmatians of the period. It is the most important Renaissance monument in Croatia and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000.
