The Siegestor (Victory Gate) is a three-arched Neoclassical triumphal arch in Munich, Germany, designed by Friedrich von Gärtner. Crowned with a statue of Bavaria atop a lion-drawn quadriga, it was originally dedicated to the glory of the Bavarian army. Since its restoration after World War II, it has stood as a reminder of peace, marking the point where Ludwigstraße becomes Leopoldstraße on the boundary between Maxvorstadt and Schwabing.
