The Sony Building stood in Ginza, Tokyo, in Chūō-ku, a modern-style structure designed by Yoshinobu Ashihara and opened in 1966. It was demolished in 2017 and replaced by Ginza Sony Park, a public urban park with galleries, event spaces and free lounges that opened in its permanent form in January 2025.
