The Spokane Washington Temple is a modern-architecture temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Spokane County, Washington, and the church's 59th operating temple. Announced in 1998 by the First Presidency, it was the second temple in the state. It follows the church's standardized smaller temple design, with a single spire topped by a statue of the angel Moroni and a granite exterior on a 2-acre site. The 10,700-square-foot building contains two ordinance rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry. Gordon B. Hinckley dedicated it in August 1999.
