Demolished or destroyed.
St Alkmund's Church was a Victorian church in Derby, standing in a Georgian square between Bridgegate and Queen Street, the only Georgian square in the city. Built in the Gothic Revival style to designs by Henry Isaac Stevens in 1846, it was demolished in 1968 to make way for a road. Churches dedicated to Saint Alkmund had occupied the site since the 9th century.
