Demolished or destroyed.
St Andrews Cathedral is a ruined medieval cathedral in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland, begun in 1158 in Romanesque and Gothic styles. It was the seat of the Archdiocese of St Andrews and the centre of the Medieval Catholic Church in Scotland until Catholic mass was outlawed during the 16th-century Scottish Reformation, after which it fell into ruin. At roughly 119 metres (390 ft) long, its remains indicate it is the largest church ever built in Scotland. It is a scheduled monument in the care of Historic Environment Scotland.
