St. Elisabeth's Church is a Gothic church in Marburg, Germany, begun in 1235 by the Teutonic Order on the site of Elizabeth of Hungary's tomb. It is among the earliest Gothic churches in Germany. Her tomb made it a major pilgrimage destination in the late Middle Ages, and the Landgraves of Hesse were later interred there. After the conversion of Landgrave Philip I in the 16th century it became Protestant, and it remains a parish of the Evangelical Church of Kurhessen-Waldeck.
