St. Eric's Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral on Södermalm, the southern part of central Stockholm, Sweden. Built in 1892 in the Romanesque Revival style of natural stone and brick, it was designed by Hans Westman and raised to cathedral status in 1953 when the Catholic Diocese of Stockholm was created. It takes its name from Saint Eric, a 12th-century Swedish king regarded as a martyr and patron of Stockholm.
