St. George's Cathedral, colloquially called the Roman Catholic Dome, is a Baroque Catholic cathedral in Timiș County, Romania. Built of brick between 1736 and 1774 to a design by Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach, it was first the cathedral of the Diocese of Csanád and has been the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Timișoara since 1930. It is the second largest Baroque religious building in Southeastern Europe, after the Cathedral Basilica of Oradea.
