St. James' Cathedral, formally the Cathedral Basilica of Saint James, is a Catholic cathedral in Bilbao, Spain, dedicated to the apostle James the Great as a point of transit for pilgrims on the Northern Way of the Camino de Santiago. Built between the 14th and 15th centuries as the city's main parish church, it blends 15th-century Gothic work in its cloister and main vault with a Gothic Revival façade and bell tower. It was declared a minor basilica in 1819, and it became a cathedral in 1955.
