St. John's Church, Northern Liberties, at 220–230 Brown Street in Philadelphia, was built in 1815 in the Colonial Revival style to designs by William Strickland, one of his oldest surviving works. It is considered the seventh oldest surviving church in Pennsylvania, not counting earlier Quaker meetinghouses. Consecrated as Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church in 1931, it was sold to the Romanian community in 1972 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
