St Lawrence's Church at Mereworth, Kent, is a Neo-Palladian stone structure completed in 1744 by John Fane, the 7th Earl of Westmorland, who built it to replace the village's medieval 12th-century church that he relocated to make way for the enlargement of Mereworth Castle. Though the architect remains unknown, prominent Palladian designers of the era such as Henry Flitcroft, James Gibbs, and Roger Morris have been proposed as possibilities. Described as "the outstanding 18th-century church in the county, in scale, ambition and architectural interest," it preserves numerous medieval fittings from its predecessor, including heraldic stained glass and fine brass and stone memorials. The building underwent various alterations during the 19th and 20th centuries, sustained bomb damage during wartime, and received comprehensive restoration in 2009. It holds Grade I listed status in recognition of its architectural and historical significance.
