St. Maria im Kapitol is a Romanesque Catholic church in the Kapitol district of Cologne's old town, Germany, built between 1040 and 1065 and dedicated to St. Mary. Its name refers to a Roman temple to the Capitoline Triad that stood on the site in the first century. Measuring about 100 by 40 metres, it is the largest of Cologne's Romanesque churches, with a trefoil east end of three apses and three towers to the west.
