St. Mark's Episcopal Church stands on US 9W in Fort Montgomery, New York, a small Tudorbethan structure built in 1923 to serve the influx of weekend travelers and vacationers anticipated after the completion of the Bear Mountain Bridge and the adjacent Popolopen Creek bridge in 1924. The building exemplifies Tudor Revival architecture, distinguished by random stone walls and lancet stained glass windows flanking its sides. Recognizing its historical significance as part of the region's development, the church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 as a contributing property of the Hudson Highlands Multiple Resource Area.
