St. Martin's Cathedral is a Gothic church on the western edge of Bratislava's historic centre, below Bratislava Castle in Slovakia. It serves as the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Bratislava and was begun in 1401. It was the coronation church of the Kingdom of Hungary from 1563 to 1830, and its tower and spire, rising 85 metres, dominate the Old Town skyline.
