St Michael in Berg am Laim is a Rococo parish church in Munich, Bavaria, constructed between 1738 and 1751 by the architect Johann Michael Fischer. Originally commissioned as a court church for Elector and Archbishop Clemens August of Cologne—brother of Emperor Charles—the building served the archbishop's Berg am Laim manor estate. The Military Order of Saint Michael used the church until 1837, and an Archbrotherhood dedicated to Saint Michael continues to maintain it today. One of the principal masterworks of the Bavarian Rococo period, the church stands as an important example of Fischer's ecclesiastical architecture and eighteenth-century Bavarian religious design.
