St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica stands at 65 Bond Street in Toronto's Garden District, serving as the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto. Designed by William Thomas in the English Gothic Revival style and built of brick, it was financed largely by Irish immigrants who lived in the area. It was elevated to a minor basilica on September 29, 2016.
