St. Michael's Cathedral in Veszprém, Hungary, is a Catholic cathedral and minor basilica serving the Archdiocese of Veszprém. A church stood on the site by 1001. After a fire in 1380 it was rebuilt in the Gothic style and dedicated to St. Michael in 1400, and parts of its crypt survive from that period. Pope John Paul II elevated it to minor basilica in 1981.
