Steninge Palace is a Baroque château overlooking Lake Mälaren near Märsta, outside Stockholm, in Sigtuna Municipality, Sweden. Built between 1694 and 1698 to designs by Nicodemus Tessin the Younger, it was directly inspired by the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte in France and is regarded in Sweden as one of the most elegant Baroque mansions. It was completed in 1705 and remains privately owned, kept open to visitors by a cultural centre.
