Østermarie Church stands in the village of Østermarie near Svaneke on the Danish island of Bornholm. The original church dated from the early 13th century, but when demolition began in 1890 its considerable architectural interest was recognised and the work was halted. The replacement church, completed in 1891, is also in the Romanesque style.
