Strata SE1 is a 147-metre, 43-storey skyscraper at Elephant & Castle in the London Borough of Southwark, containing 408 flats home to more than 1,000 residents. Designed by BFLS (formerly Hamiltons) and clad in aluminium, it was completed in 2010 as the tallest residential building in London. It was also the first building in the world to have wind turbines integral to its original structure, though these no longer function.
