Sudbrook Park in Petersham, now within the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, is a Palladian mansion designed by James Gibbs for John Campbell, 2nd Duke of Argyll in the early 18th century and completed in 1728. The house, a Grade I listed building, exemplifies the refined proportions and classical vocabulary characteristic of Palladian design. Originally set within landscaped grounds developed alongside the residence, Sudbrook Park has served as the home of Richmond Golf Club since 1891, transforming the estate into a sporting venue while preserving the architectural integrity of Gibbs's house.
