The Sussex County Courthouse stands at the corner of High and Spring Streets in Newton, the county seat of Sussex County, New Jersey. Originally built in 1765 and rebuilt in 1847, it is a Greek Revival temple-style building and is among the oldest courthouses in the United States still in active use. It houses part of the 10th vicinage of the New Jersey Superior Court and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 23, 1979.
