The Swallow's Nest is a Neo-Gothic castle perched atop the 40-metre Aurora Cliff at Gaspra, a small spa town between Yalta and Alupka on the Crimean peninsula. Designed by the Russian architect Leonid Sherwood and built in 1911–1912 for Pavel Leonardovich von Steingel, it overlooks the Black Sea and has become a symbol of Crimea's southern coastline.
