Swansea Castle stands in the city centre of Swansea, Wales. Henry de Beaumont founded it in 1107 as the caput of the lordship of Gower, and it is now a ruin of which only two blocks remain. The site was improved in the 2010s for use as a public space. It is a National Monument of Wales, a Grade I listed building and a scheduled monument.
