Symphony Center is a music complex at 220 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago's Loop, home to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Its core, Orchestra Hall, a 2,522-seat venue dating from 1904, was designed by Daniel Burnham and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1994. A $110 million renovation and expansion completed in 1997 added spaces including Buntrock Hall and Grainger Ballroom.
