The Synagogue of Bergheim, constructed in 1863 in Bergheim, Haut-Rhin, exemplifies the Romanesque Revival style that characterized mid-nineteenth-century religious architecture in France. Built during a period of Jewish community establishment and expansion in the Alsatian region, the structure reflects both the aspirations of its congregation and the architectural conventions of its era. Recognized as a registered historical monument, it remains a significant example of synagogal design from the Second Empire period.
