Ta' Pinu is a Roman Catholic minor basilica and national shrine about 700 metres from the village of Għarb on Gozo, the sister island of Malta. Designed by Andrea Vassallo in the Romanesque Revival style, construction began in 1920 and the church stands 61 metres high. Its venerated Marian image, the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu, was crowned under a decree of Pope Pius XI in 1935.
