Located in Høje-Taastrup Municipality, a western suburb of Copenhagen, the Taastrup Water Tower is a 32-meter-tall structure completed in 1908 and designed in the Art Nouveau style. Originally built to supply water to the growing suburb, the tower is now defunct but remains a distinctive local landmark easily spotted from the west along Roskildevej as one approaches Copenhagen. It has been repurposed as an observation tower, serving both a practical function and a visual marker of the area's architectural heritage.
