Tangasseri Lighthouse stands at Tangasseri in Kollam city, Kerala, India, and has operated since 1902. Maintained by the Cochin Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships, its cylindrical tower is painted with white and red oblique bands and rises 41 metres (135 ft), making it the second tallest lighthouse on the Kerala coast.
