Taranto Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Cataldo, the city's patron saint, stands in Taranto, Apulia, Italy, and is the seat of the Archdiocese of Taranto. Built by the Byzantines in the 10th century over an earlier 5th-century structure, it is the oldest cathedral in Puglia. Its Baroque façade and statues, dating from the early 18th century, are attributed to Mauro Manieri and were commissioned during a renovation under Archbishop Giovan Battista Stella.
