Tarrywile Park is a 722-acre municipal park in Danbury, Connecticut, featuring rolling hills, woodlands, fields, and ponds alongside the Tarrywile Mansion, regarded as the city's finest example of Shingle Style architecture. The mansion's 11-acre property, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, includes a gatehouse, carriagehouse, and greenhouse. The park also encompasses Hearthstone Castle, an 1895 castle-like summer house now in poor condition. Open to the public for hiking, picnicking, and recreation, the mansion is available for guided tours by appointment and can be rented for private events.
