The Teatro Arriaga is a Neo-Baroque opera house on the Nervión River in Bilbao, Spain, designed by architect Joaquín Rucoba and completed in 1890. Named after the 19th-century composer Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, known as the "Spanish Mozart," the theatre exemplifies eclectic Baroque Revival architecture characteristic of its era. Rucoba, who also designed Bilbao's city hall, created a landmark that has survived multiple catastrophes, including fire and flood, each prompting major reconstruction. The building now holds heritage status with the Basque government.
