Terpzigt is a historic windmill located in Menameradiel (also associated with Marssum) in the Netherlands, designated as a Rijksmonument. Known colloquially as a "spider's head mill" for its distinctive form, the structure stands upon an artificial dwelling hill, or terp—a characteristic Frisian settlement type built to protect against flooding. The windmill represents an important example of regional vernacular architecture adapted to the challenging lowland geography of the northern Netherlands.
