Texarkana Union Station is a Renaissance Revival railway station serving Amtrak in Texarkana, a city straddling the Arkansas-Texas line. The Arkansas-Texas border bisects the building: the eastern part, with the waiting room and ticket office, lies in Texarkana, Arkansas, while the western part lies in Texarkana, Texas, so stopped trains span both states. Built in 1928 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, it is today the second busiest Amtrak station in Arkansas.
