The Breakers was a Queen Anne style cottage on Ochre Point Avenue along the Cliff Walk in Newport, Rhode Island. Designed by Peabody and Stearns for Pierre Lorillard IV and built in 1878, it was acquired by Cornelius Vanderbilt II in 1885. Destroyed by fire in 1892, it was replaced by the current Breakers.
