The Floridian Hotel was a Mediterranean Revival structure built in Miami Beach in 1925, part of the city's early twentieth-century development boom. The building stood until its demolition in 1987, representing a period when Mediterranean Revival styling—with its evocation of Old World elegance through arched openings, decorative tile, and stucco detailing—dominated the aesthetic of Miami Beach's resort and hospitality architecture.
