The Peninsula Paris is a luxury hotel on Avenue Kléber in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, designed in the Art Nouveau style by Armand Sibien. Built in 1903, it opened in 1908 as the Hotel Majestic and was converted to government offices in 1936. During World War II it served as headquarters of the German military high command in France. The hotel reopened as The Peninsula Paris in August 2014 after a complicated and costly restoration.
