The Thomas A. Berry House is a Late Victorian residence in Dalton, Georgia, built in 1882 as a wedding gift from Mary Elizabeth Bass's father to the newlywed couple. Located at 506 Hawthorne Street, the house exemplifies Victorian Eclectic design through its wraparound porch, decorative brackets adorning the eaves and porch, prominent bay window, and stained glass details. The interior features period mantels that reflect the home's original craftsmanship. Recognized for retaining its original setting, appearance, and landscaping, the house stands as one of the few surviving Victorian-era dwellings from Dalton's affluent nineteenth-century residential district. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 5, 1984.
