Toronto City Hall, also known as New City Hall, is the seat of the municipal government of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Designed by Viljo Revell and engineered by Hannskarl Bandel, it opened in 1965 in the Neo-Expressionist Modern style. It replaced the neighbouring Old City Hall, which was no longer adequate in size, and stands beside Nathan Phillips Square, designed and opened together with it.
