The Torre Velasca is a 106-metre brutalist skyscraper completed in 1958 and inaugurated in 1961, designed by the BBPR architectural partnership in Milan's city centre. Rising 26 stories, the tower stands near the Duomo and the University of Milan, positioned between corso di Porta Romana and via Larga, with direct access to the Missori metro station. As one of Italy's rare examples of post-rationalist brutalist architecture, it combines residential and office functions, and was designated a historic building under Italian national protection in 2011.
