Trakai Peninsula Castle stands on a peninsula between southern Lake Galvė and Lake Luka in Trakai, Lithuania. Built around 1350–1377 by Kęstutis, Duke of Trakai, and constructed of brick, it guarded Trakai and Vilnius against Teutonic Knight attacks. Its seven towers were linked by a 10-metre wall, and much of it was destroyed in the 17th century. The surviving walls and towers are preserved within Trakai Historical National Park.
